3PP(3LPP) pipe coating is a three-layer polypropylene coating technology that uses polypropylene as the coating material. This coating has three layers. The outer layer is polypropylene in 3lpp pipe coating, and the middle layer consists of an adhesive that is used to bond the inner fusion-bonded epoxy layer. This special structure can protect the material from a variety of conditions and materials.

Product Application

3lpp pipes have a longer service life and higher performance than uncoated or other types of coatings. The application of this special coating is mainly in oil fields that operate at high temperatures. Three-layer polypropylene coated pipes can be used in applications that are prone to wear and tear, such as drip irrigation operations and rock surface applications.

API 5L is a standard specification for line pipes developed by the American Petroleum Institute (API). It provides requirements for the manufacture of seamless and welded steel pipes in two product levels (API 5L PSL1 and API 5L PSL2) for use by the global oil industry, especially in transportation.
