Steel Cord Tape Reinforced RTP Pipe

Steel Cord Tape Reinforced RTP Pipe is a high-performance reinforced thermoplastic piping solution designed for demanding high-pressure fluid transportation applications. Its reinforcement tape uses parallel-arranged high-carbon copper-plated steel cords, which may consist of twisted individual filaments, strands, or combinations of wires and strands.

Through a melt impregnation process, HDPE, PE-RT, or PA-compatible bonding resin thoroughly encapsulates and impregnates the steel cords. The composite material is then extruded to remove air and cooled to form a unidirectional thermoplastic reinforcement tape.

With a reported reinforcement tensile strength of 2,200 MPa, this technology provides high-strength reinforcement for demanding pipeline applications. The finished pipe can be customized according to project requirements for diameter, pressure rating, materials, and coil length.
