Product Description:
Carbon Fiber / Basalt Fiber Prepreg Tape Reinforced RTP Pipe is an advanced reinforced thermoplastic piping solution designed for demanding industrial fluid transportation applications.
Carbon Fiber Reinforcement: Continuous unidirectional carbon fibers are impregnated with HDPE, PE-RT, or PA-compatible bonding resin through a melt impregnation process. The material is then compacted to remove air and cooled to form a unidirectional thermoplastic composite tape, with a reported fiber tensile strength of 3,500–6,000 MPa.
Basalt Fiber Reinforcement: Continuous unidirectional basalt fibers are impregnated with thermoplastic resin, such as HDPE, PP, or PA, and cooled to form a thin unidirectional composite tape. The reported basalt fiber tensile strength is above 3,800 MPa.
These advanced reinforcement materials support the development of lightweight, high-strength RTP systems. Pipe dimensions, pressure ratings, material combinations, and coil lengths can be customized according to project requirements.
